Seems CVHT item will be discussed in closed session at this meeting. Will be interesting to read the minutes that are published following this meeting. I hope the Council publishes the survey and let the public decide what it means rather than giving their interpretation of what it means. The Council should know the value of the covenants on the land before agreeing with CVHT the conditions on any relaxing or removing of them. They were put in place instead of a 75% claw back facility recommended by the district Valuer should the land be sold on by CVHT. To me, that means the value of the covenants are 75% of the market value of the land. I believe the Council have a statutory legal responsibility not to release the land for less than its market value.
