If you live in Elmbridge Road, Cranleigh, you probably find traffic speeds through at alarming rates? this makes it a frightening area for those on foot of all ages. Local residents have asked council for a traffic calming scheme – now there is a consultation which ends soon so please read on – click here to access the correct page. Click here to see the drawing.
It consists of some speed bumps, and raised tables, to indicate that traffic should drive slowly and give way to pedestrians. This seems very reasonable to us.
